Centabay Lodge offers budget accommodation right in the centre of Paihia. Choose from a bed in one of the spacious dormitory rooms or stay in a private room to suit your budget.
Free WiFi, a fully equipped shared kitchen, communal lounge and garden area with BBQ facilities and a hot tub are all included. We also have laundry facilities should guests wish to use them. Free limited on-site parking is also available. Guests can play table tennis and darts in the hostel games room (during low season) or ask the tour desk about nearby activities such as kayaking, cycling and hiking.

Très bonne auberge, personnel très accueillant. Le wifi est limité par des passwords qui durent 2 h, manque un peu de place dans les frigos pour vos aliments. Sinon vous passerez un très bon séjour à Paihia dans cette auberge, la ville ne se visite qu' en 3 jours maxi. Le musée est très intéressant pour connaître l'histoire de la NZ et le marché le jeudi après midi est incontournable, vous pourrez acheter le meilleur miel de Manuka de Nouvelle-Zélande à un apiculteur très sympathique.

Great, affordable hostel! Plenty of space to chill out, good vibes, nice staff, kitchen was well equipped and clean (although a bit of a tight squeeze during busy hours). No lockers in the rooms though, and also a very limited amount of bathrooms (at least around where my room was). Would definitely recommend!

Great stay, could just do with new curtains in the room as they had black mould on, and under the beds could do with a clean as there was lots of dust and rubbish left from other guests. Bedding was clean and overall it was a nice place in a good location. There is some parking for guests which was handy but it was definitely luck of the draw as to whether there is a space or not as only about 6 spaces.
