The Red Boat is well located on the island of Södermalm, only 15mins walk away from the historical center. Even if cabins are small, they are really cleans as well as the communal bathrooms. Commune area is the room for the restaurant boat, there no access to kitchen equipment therefore this is more of a hotel then an hostel, don't book here if you're looking to socialise. I enjoyed the quiet evening on the boat terasse with a stunning view of the city and the authenticity of the decoration.

Subway only 5mn walking distance. Very charming dining room, well decorated, one feels like being invited in the captain’s cabin of the Vasa! :) Possible to order meals, limited offer but very good value for money! Breakfast offer is a little more basic (would have liked it more swedish: no herring? serious? :) ) Another room where you can bring your own food but no shared kitchen or even fridge, so it’s somehow closer to a hotel than a hostel on that matter. Rooms, shared toilets and showers just fine, man

All the staff was very friendly, we arrived late in the night and had no problem finding the room, the place is very quiet and not far from the center.
