Day 1
Morning departure from Ouarzazate to the Dades gorges and Todra gorges, passing the oasis of Skoura where we stop to visit the kasbah of Amridil. From here, our route takes us through Kela’a M’gouna, the valley of the roses where we stop for a coffee. Later, we drive off-road along the road of a thousand kasbahs to the Dades gorges for lunch. In the afternoon, there is time for a walk alongside the Boumalne Dades valley before continuing to the Todra gorge for the night in a riad.
Day 2
After breakfast, there is time to walk by the Tinghir palm grove before driving to the dunes of Merzouga via the ziz valley, the oasis of Tafilalet and arrive in Erfoud in time for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue our trip to the dunes of Merzouga in time for an hourcamel ride in the desert. The sunset from the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes is spectacular (250m) and afterwards there is dinner and the night in a luxury desert camp.
Day 3
If you wake up early enough, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the clour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast, we drive from Merzouga to Ouarzazate passing by the villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine and N’Qob where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we drive along the Draa valley and the ancient road of caravans surrounded by palm trees and full of ancient kasbahs such as the most well-known one of Tamnougalte. We rejoin the paved road in Agdez and reach Ouarzazate at the end of the day, crossing the Anti-Atlas and the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660m).

Desert excursion: 2 days/1 night
Ouarzazate – Erg Lihoudi – Ouarzazate
Day 1:
Ouarzazate – Erg Lihoudi (Mhamid)
8 am, departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate in 4×4 towards Erg Lihoudi. Crossing the Draa Valley, the valley of 1000 kasbahs and palm groves, in Agdez you can visit the Tamnogalte kasbah, lunch in Zagora, then Tamgroute where you can visit a Koranic library and pottery workshops, arrival in M'Hamid. Then camel ride for 1h30 to reach the bivouac at Erg Lihoudi, where we arrive for the sunset. Dinner and night in bivouac in the middle of the desert.
Day 2:
Erg Lihoudi – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, departure from Erg Lihoudi by the track then the road. Going up the Draa Valley. Passage through Agdez for lunch. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the afternoon around 5 p.m.

from the bus station you have to take a taxi for 50 MAD =5euro and from the aeroport is about 150 MAD = 15 euro.
