Fukuoka Guesthouse SHIP is located in the center of Hakata, and access to Gofukumachi station, Nakasu and Tenjin is very easy and convenient for sightseeing! Our cafe and Bar at 1st floor is the area to enjoy communication with Japanese local people and travelers. We are waiting for everyone's coming pleasantly.

From Tenjin station and Hakata station, 15 minutes by bus and on foot.
From Fukuoka Airport, about 30 minutes by subway and on foot.

Nice place overall if you're on a budget. Staff was really nice, but too small for a real ambiance.It's also very noisy because the house is very old, but nothing a good pair of earplugs can't solve.The major drawback is that the hostel is remote from everything happening in Fukuoka... You're far from all the restaurant bar culture the city is famous for...(Also hygiene was dubious, I found used cottons over my bed bunk, lots of dust and they don't provide a sheet for the blanket...)

Really tight room. Feels like you are on top of everyone. The common area is also very small.

I had a great stay at Fukuoka Guesthouse SHIP! The staff was very friendly and the accommodation itself was great! They even had a cute little garden! I would definitely come back if I ever get the chance.
