Morning Market to Thangone bus route goes every 30mins 6am to 6pm. You can jump off at the new ministry of justice building at km 18 and we are 500 metres behind it. Vongkham Eco Resort has been built from scratch based on an idea of providing a getaway from the city and also as a springboard to the rural communities and attractions in the local area. It is a place to relax and unwind in an established botanical garden, set in a hectare of land with a dragon-fruit plantation. Pigeons, turkeys, ducks, geese, goats and cows roams free on the land. Lychee, Longon, Tamarind, Papaya, Mango, Coconut, Banana, Almond and various other herbs and vegetables are grown, which we supplement in the kitchen. Various established plants and flowers are actively grown throughout the year and large marigold flower field provides cash crops for festivals and buddhist ceremonies in the annual calender.There is plenty of natural wildlife in the resort that have decided to make it their home. Bird song can be heard at dawn and dusk and sunrises and sunsets can be crimson red and orange. Bikes are available free to cycle about and soak up the surrounding open areas around the resort,with over 50 kilometres of dirt tracks, it makes riding the bicycles to see the surrounding scenery a must. Don't be surprised if on your bike travels you get invited into peoples homes to experience real Lao hospitality and culture. in the evenings, during the colder months you can set the fire in the firepit and listen to tunes set up to a sound system till morning, the place is totally secluded and safe.

Huts are furnished and electricity; lighting and fans are supplied. Chalet bungalows have 1 or 2 double beds toilets, showers and air conditioning.

The main common areas at the back of the resort are the firepit and seating under shade. The skywalk is also a free common area for guests to relax on pyramid cushions and hammocks.
