Hostel San Marcos is located 20 meters from one of the most beautiful lakes in the world – Lago Atitlan in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. Our hostel features laid-back cabana-style accommodation, its own bar, a private garden with hammocks, a residents’ lounge with TV room and movie features. Common areas does have wireless internet connection. In the reception we have a refrigerator with ice cold beers and our selection of wines, rums and whiskeys. All the rooms are decorated in a way you will feel in woody cabanas with local made furniture and decoration. The shared bathrooms are equipped with gas fire boilers with guarantee hot water 24 hours a day. The rooms are made with natural light features.

good location but quiet dirty and nobody to help you

J’ai réservé via hostel world pour une chambre privé et le personnel de l’hôtel n’était pas au courant qu’il y a des réservations via le site web. Il n’y avait évidemment plus de chambres privés et on a été chanceuses qu’il y ait de la place en dortoir. Évidemment, on a eu aucun accommodement.
Le matin à 7h30, ils ont commencé à faire des gros travaux sur le toit et le son était l’enfer, nous empêchant ainsi de dormir.
Heureusement que ce n’était pas cher.

Nous avions une réservation et payé l'acompte. En arrivant à l'hostel, celui-ci était fermé pour un mois.
