We were really grateful to the Forum/Hostelworld for helping us fix a mistake I'd made with the booking. Much appreciated. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and comfortable with quiet rooms and a really excellent breakfast. The beach is a little walk away but it's really close to the station and has a really lovely roof terrace.

So this is definitely not a hostel, and therefore doesn't have the atmosphere of one. I wouldn't necessarily regard this as a negative because The Forum doesn't market itself as a hostel, but instead as a three-star hotel. In that regard, The Forum is pretty great. It has an unbeatable location on the boarder of Monaco for the price, it is clean, the rooms are very comfortable, and overall I had a good time and got what I was looking for.
