Welcome to LEBO’S SOWETO! We offer a unique and personal experience of Soweto. Integrated with the community around us we invite day as well as overnight guests to be part of this vibrant township. Our day guests can book one of the interactive tours by walk, bicycle or tuk-tuk as well as relaxing with a home cooked lunch or dinner in the outdoors in our community park and around the fire and boma. An overnight experience at the Backpackers Lodge offers the budget traveller a choice of accommodation – camping, dormitory and private En Suite rooms. Home cooked meals served by the fire and the opportunity to explore Soweto on their own by safely strolling around and mingling with the locals or on an organized tour conducted by local tour guides. Community volunteering, self-guided tours and free bicycle hire is also available for the curious traveller staying longer.

Lieu convivial. Parfait pour découvrir l’histoire de Soweto et de l’Afrique du Sud. Tout était parfaitement organisé (transport depuis l’aéroport, repas, balade à vélo…). Je recommande totalement

Awesome location if you wanna explore Soweto. Functional kitchen and good home cooked meals on site if needed (a bit expensive though) A bit far from Joburg main tourist area. Since it was raining, they offered us a tour in tuk-tuk instead of by foot, which was awesome. Pokemon (our guide) did a really good job at telling us about his town! The WiFi didn't work, but don't know if it's a regular problem or not.
