Hikers Den is the first and only hostel in Zabljak- with a warm heart and truly homely feel!
We sit down with each and every guest on arrival and help you plan your time in National Park Durmitor whether it be hiking, biking, rafting, canyoning or simply just exploring the beautiful surroundings in the fresh mountain air.
We also have spare hiking shoes, jackets, warm clothes and we will provide you with free paper and digital(offline) hiking maps. Every morning we hold hike briefings and help people find hike buddies if they don't want to hike alone.

I had a wonderful time at the Hiker's den. Alex and Stefan are amazing hosts, great of fulk advice and safety tips for hike in the Durmitor. it's a hikers hostel, so a lot of nice people to meet and team up with. Best of times, recommend it 100%.

Très bonne auberge conviviale. Des notre arrivée, nous avons eu de bons conseils pour la randonnée. L’auberge est bien placée pour se rendre au lac noir et dans le parc national.
Nous étions en chambre privée.

Our stay at Hikers Den Hostel has been absolutely amazing! It is very close to the black lake and the entrance of the Durmitor Park. It is a lovely little house with everything you might need. Alex has been super helpful the entire time, he told us exactly what to do in the area, he gave us so many advices regarding the hikes and basically organised everything for us (van transport, bikes, rafting, etc). We literally just had to show up, everything else was taken care of! We loved that hostel !
