Grande salle commune ce qui est très agréable. La propreté n'est clairement pas un des critères principaux. Mon lit était sale quand je suis arrivée, moquette dans les chambres (on n'ose même pas marcher sans chaussure tellement il y a des taches et elle n'est plus verte mais marron). Il y a des transports à côté.
Bref c'est OK mais il faut vraiment fermer les yeux sur la propreté (ce qui devrait être le minimum surtout en dortoir).

Arrived at midnight, I feel safe enough to walk from Powell BART station to the hostel.
Check-in was kind.
First time for me to stay at this kind of hostel. I stay just for one night, but seem to me that place is a good place specially for it's price !
Sufficiently clean and safe, located in the middle of the town with self-serve buffet breakfast included, what else for that price ?

I had stayed at the Adelaide Hostel 10 years ago on my first trip to SF and was keen to stay there again when I came back. The central location is the main perk of this place. Walking distance of many landmarks of the city + close to the main bus lines and famous cable cars.
Many thanks to PJ, the owner, for being super accommodating and adjusting my reservation when I realized bunk beds were a thing of the past for me 😂 I will be back!
