Mambembe Hostel

The Mambembe family invites you to stay at Mambembe Hostel which is located in the cultural neighborhood of Santa Teresa right next to the bohemian neighborhood Lapa. We have two 9 bed dorms, two 6 bed dorms, one suite private room, two private rooms with a double bed and one twin private room. The premises include: fully equipped kitchen, free wifi, living room with smart TV, sun deck and several outdoor chill out areas. Our customized mattresses (200cm x 90cm) and curtains on every dorm bed will make sure you have a relaxing, good night's sleep. Personal power outlets, reading lights, lockers and ceiling fans are also provided.

We have a 24h reception, so you may come and go around the clock or buy drinks and snacks.

A five minute walk down the road takes you to Lapa, famous for its legendary street parties. The nearby bus and metro stops guarantee easy and fast access to Rios picturesque beaches. Nowadays, Uber is also a very interesting option to move about the city as it has a good value for money.
