I spend 3 nights in a twin room. I had a great time there & enjoyed having privacy while having some space to encounter people !
I totally recommend this hostel :)

Weird atmosphere. Lot of noise even past curfew. My room was next to the bathroom area and the big door would slam all night long. There was a family with a small kid next door shouting in the early morning. Showers weren’t very clean but the room was. Facilities are nice and the location is great, staff is awesome, but it does feel like people are there for long term residency.

A really nice hostel with a good backpacker atmosphere. For me it’s the best hostel in Wellington!
