House rules of the Hostel Pekarna
To make your stay at Hostel Pekarna as pleasant as possible, please follow our house rules.
Reception
Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. You must pay for your stay at check-in and also put 10 € deposit for:
• keys, sheets and towels,
• respecting house rules
Departing guests must check-out by 10:00 a.m. - if not, additional night will be charged.
Reception working hours:
8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (you should inform us in advance, if your arrival is after 8:00 p.m.)
Breakfast : from 7:30 to 9:30
Rooms
The key for the room is at the same time the key for the front door. After 8 p.m. the entrance in Hostel Pekarna is possible only with that key. Guests must by arriving dressed the beds by themselve, fresh sheets and towels are set in every room.
On the departure day you must take off the sheets and put it - together with towels - in the cart on the hallway. Please, put the trash in the bins for separated waste and clean up the rubbish under the bed. You can get large trash bags on the reception.
At group or individual check-out, hostel Pekarna staff checks out used rooms, along with responsible person of the group or with an individual. In case rooms are very dirty, an additional cleaning will be charged – 20,00 EUR per room for the group or 10,00 EUR per bed for an individual.
There shall be complete silence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. every day. During this time please do not disturb other guests or the stuff.
Booked room will be kept for you until 8:00 p.m. If it haven’t been claimed by then, it may be given to other guests. In case of late arrival without advanced notice, we can offer you an accommodation that is available at the moment.
Common rooms
Kitchen and dining room for guests are in use for every hostel Pekarna guest. After use please wash the dishes and clean the tables.
It is prohibited to remove inventory from the rooms and common rooms in hostel Pekarna.
You can store food in the guest kitchen, if you mark it with your name and date of departure. All non-marked food and food with expired date will be thrown away. The stickers for food marking are in the kitchen or you can get it on the reception.
General rules
Please, do not damage or remove any of the inventory at Hostel Pekarna. Do not change the position of the furniture in the rooms. Guest is responsible for the damage caused by him or by guests he is responsible of and also for damage caused by his visitors. For intentionally caused damage or theft, deposit is confiscated and costs are charged.
Please do not behave inappropriately or disrespectfully towards other guests or staff.
Staff at hostel Pekarna is accredited to check respecting of house rules and they have the right to carry out listed measurements in the area of Hostel Pekarna.
In case of breaking the house rules we can or will take the necessary of these measurements:
• Temporary or permanent expulsion from the hostel.
• Take your deposit.
• Charge you for any caused damage and resulting loss of income.
• Call the authorities.
Costs for the damage will be assessed by the host within the actual costs of repairing the damage. Costs that exceed the amount of the deposit are settled directly at hostel Pekarna. Exceptions are allowed only after the agreement with institution management. In case of disagreement, costs of the damage will be assessed by legal way for which is competent Stvarno sodišče v Mariboru.
Sleeping bags are prohibited. Each guest gets free bedding and can exchange it free of charge at reception after 14 days of use, towels can be exchanged free of charge after 3 nights of use.
During your stay, rooms are cleaned once a week. Please, during that time take care of cleanliness in rooms.

For safety reasons, please do not lean over the window or balcony fence. Windows may be used only for venting the place. You may not use the window shelf for sitting and it is also forbidden to scream through the window or throwing objects and trash over the window.

Please, do not throw tampons and sanitary towels in room toilettes or common toilettes.
We are not liable for any personal injury.
Pets and other animals are prohibited.
You can receive guests only at day time between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the dining room or at the terrace.
If you haven’t checked in and paid for your stay you are not allowed to sleep anywhere in the Hostel Pekarna.
Keep your valuables with you or store them in the locker in your room. We are not responsible for any theft, loss and/or damage of personal belongings elsewhere in the hostel.

Alcohol,, smoking, drogs and weapons

Consumption of alcohol is restricted to the cafe area of the dining room, it is forbidden to consume it or save it in dorms.
Storing food in dorms is prohibited.
Smoking is strictly forbidden at the entire facility. In case of activation of smoking alarm because of smoking, costs of intervention are charged to the person responsible for the accident and are settled immediately. Costs of intervention are charged by a valid pricelist. If it’s found out that there were smoking in the room, costs for additional cleaning or carelessness are charged in amount of 50,00 EUR.

Drugs and weapons of any kind are prohibited. We reserve the right to confiscate them and notify the police.

Important
Respect other guests and treat them the way you would like to be treated by them.
Inappropriate behavior towards the staff and other guests it’s forbidden! In opposite case, we will inform the police.
In case of fire alarm, leave your room and building immediately, following emergency exits. Emergency exits are appropriately marked in the entire building. Assembly fire point is at the parking lot at the driveway of Hostel Pekarna. Fire regulations and emergency exit markings are hanging in rooms and common rooms of Hostel Pekarna.

• Inform yourself about the location of fire alarms and extinguishers; follow the fire regulations and staff instructions.
• Do not use electric or gas cookers, heaters etc. in rooms, for safety reasons.
• Smoking is prohibited everywhere inside the hostel Pekarna.
• If you trigger the fire alarm intentionally with no reason or if it rings because of smoking, cooking etc., you will cover the costs of fire brigade intervention and lose your deposit.
Storage and consumption of alcohol in rooms, storage and consumption of illegal drugs and weapons is prohibited. We reserve the right to confiscate them and notify the police.
Controlling the house rules is done by:
• MOM as owner and MKC Maribor as manager .
• Staff of Hostel Pekarna.
• Security service.
The owner, manager, staff members and security service have the right to check if the house rules are followed at any time and on all the premises, without asking for permission.
Staff at the reception is present 24 hours. For check-in, check-out and all other informations, receptionists are available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Security guard is at the reception between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., who is performing regular control checks in the building. Security cameras are set in the hallways and around the building, for your safety and safety of staff.
Change of general house rules in hostel Pekarna is possible at any time, you can introduce with it at check-in on the reception.
