Slieve Bloom Manor Hostel is a family-run business, All dorms are en-suite. We have a varied breakfast to cater for all guests and laundry facilities are also available.

We are located on the main Muckross Road the gateway to the National Park and Lakes. We are the ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry and the National Park. Bicycle hire is available 2 minutes walk from the house. You can walk to town in less than 10 minutes.

We've taken on the responsibility of ensuring our Hostel is progressing towards a sustainable future and we follow green principles to help preserve our environment. We value and passionately care about our environment and want this to be shown and advocated through our actions, design and ethos at our Hostel. There are restaurants and pubs close by. Horse riding, fishing, and golf are available locally. We are also 5 minutes walk to the INEC and we have private off-street parking available for free on a first come first serve basis.

Cancellation policy:

Standard Rates: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Non refundable Rates: We will charge your credit card on the day you have confirmed your reservation. The property has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the payment. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking.

Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Breathe easy. Slieve Bloom Manor only allows smoking outside. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a fine determined by the property manager.

We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your card on file at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the property manager immediately after check-in to avoid responsibility and potential charges. Have passionate conversation all day long, but from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time).

Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your room (or super close). Please note this is a first come first serve basis. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The property does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
