Based out in Darjeeling, our dwellings are a blend of the age-old tradition of earth houses using local resources with the comforts and amenities of a holiday home. Truly amazing place. If you are in the Darjeeling area, this is a must stay for at least a few days. You will probably want to stay longer and volunteer. Accommodations were clean and comfortable (and in the middle of the forest). Meals were delicious, and you know exactly where the food comes from. Staff and volunteers were passionate about the permaculture project, and willing to share the process and philosophy of sustainable ways of living within nature. Highly recommend!
