Lago Argentino Hostel

Since 1993 in El Calafate, Lago Argentino Hostel is a family business run by its owners. We are professionals in tourism with know-how and constantly adapting to new markets. It is a small, simple and economic hostel; with warm, clean, centric and safe space, a beautiful garden and excellent service. Our best feature is giving personal advice to each of our guests, providing good quality information and making them feel at home. We speak fluent English, French and Portuguese.

We are located downtown, 2 blocks from the main avenue Libertador or 5 minutes walking, close to all the necessary services: markets, restaurants, tourist agencies, parks, shops and local attractions; 30 minutes walk from the bus station and 23 km from the airport.
We work with different people: families, friends, couples, solo travellers, who are looking to know the world, other cultures, experience the destination and share their experiences with other travellers as well as resting and connecting with nature.

The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your favourite meals, next to a cozy living and dining room to share with others, listen to music, read a good book and spend a good moment. We offer free wi-fi and individual lockers for your luggage; heating and hot water 24 hours. Breakfast includes bread, croissant, cookies, oat, cereals, fruit, dulce de leche, jams, milk, butter, teas, coffee and mate cocido.

Cancellation Policy: 6 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
