Beautiful environmentally friendly construction with spectacular mountain views, built in a Bamboo Located very close to Minca just 500m away in the middle of the forest and very close to the river, beautiful waterfalls and natural pools. The use of 100% solar energy, septic tanks treated with friendly bacteria, the non-use of plastics or chemicals within our facilities, we convert our organic waste into biogas for the kitchen and we produce our organic fertilizer.
There are 26 beds spread over 7 rooms, 4 double rooms and 3 shared rooms.Comfortable social areas, open-air kitchen and restaurant run by the owner, menu made with regional products.
With more than 15 years doing activities such as bird watching, hiking, coffee tours, cocoa tours and walks through the forest make Jungle Joe Minca Adventures, the leader in this sector of tourism. Open-air restaurant, large social areas, Wi-Fi,balcony and comfortable beds.

Cancellation Policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Le cadre est très sympa mais la cuisine est plutôt sale et pas très bien équipée. Le petit dej est génial par contre. Un peu à l’écart du village. Beaucoup de couples ou de groupes à Minca, pas forcément simple de rencontrer du monde quand on voyage solo

It’s 15/20 minutes far from Minca, don’t use google maps to go there because it’s wrong. You have to sign and agree to some rules that no one follows and no one check and make people be quite. At the place you discover that kitchen is available only after 17:00 and didn’t saw this on Hostelworld.
The room.. bring your own locker, your own towels and hand soap because are not provided. Very tiny room, no chairs but the worst part was the mosquitoes net, didn’t work because of some holes. We wanted a private room but you can hear everything from everywhere and anybody. 2 showers, 2 toilets and 1 sink for over 30 guests. Showers very dirty, I’m not sure they clean once In 3 days.
One of the rules was 3 minutes shower maximum but it’s impossible because water have no pressure and of course is cold. Breakfast was nice 2 times out of 3 but you can’t choose and know what you will have, I don’t drink coffee and impossible to have a tea. One of the cook was pissed off because we wanted breakfast at 09:30 and by rule was until 10. The main reason of our bad review were the noises. Couldn’t sleep even with earplugs. People smoking anything and being loud until midnight. The next days we told to the reception at what time is the silence and they answered 22:00 I told him that lasted until midnight and he told me that I have to let him know and he will resolved. The second night we text by WhatsApp and by email but got no answer. We texted At 23:00 after one guy vomited in front of our room. Third night at 23:15 the guy at the reception just scream to a worker where he left the keys of the motorcycle. And the worker replied screaming . So if you are 25 and less, like hostel, weed and a cheap bed this is your place. You can sleep from midnight and will wake up at 07:00 , no earplug can save you. WiFi very slow and large amount of people doing chocolate tour (not from the hostel)
