Welcome to Carob Hostel!
Our hostel nestled in the heart of Amman and looks over the bustling city with panoramic views. Our aim has been to create a home away from home for anyone coming to Amman, hoping to give a true taste of Jordanian hospitality for every guest. At the hostel you can enjoy sitting on our large terrace, taking in the 180 degree views as the call for prayer echoes off the many hills that Amman is built on. Or join us in the living room where everyone comes together to chat and share stories surrounded by handmade crafts.
When you’re not at the hostel we are only 2 minutes from the Downtown and we would be glad to recommend the best places for you to visit. Whether it be to learn more about Amman (one of one of the oldest cities in the world), or where to try authentic Jordanian cuisine.
When city life starts to get under your skin we can help advise you on day trips to Jerash, Madaba or the Dead Sea where there are plenty of different price options and deals. And of course for your onward journey to Petra, Wadi Rum or Israel/Palestine we can help so that you have the smoothest journey possible.

Our hostel provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests.
The shared bathrooms are equipped with a bidet and a hairdryer.
Guest rooms at Carob Hostel include air conditioner, desk, seats, clean bed sheets, comfortable mattresses, plugs for every bed and also curtains on each dorm bed for your privacy.
A daily fresh Jordanian breakfast is available at the accommodation often described as "the best breakfast in Jordan". Don't miss out!
Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged for the first night of your stay.
Please let us know an approximate arrival time! Is very important for us (send us Whatsapp msg).

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit card, debit card. (we accept PayPal)

Remove the fact that you sell SIM card - but the hostel is very clean, safe and at a good place and it miss a key to lock the door’s room

It was loooong time I didn't feel the Youth hostel spirit amongst all these low class self called "Hostel" you find on hostelworld that are often gloomy, not rigourous on cleaning, etc.
Carob hostel is so great. Close to downtown Amman, people working there are amazingly helpful, the facility is great, with 2 outside terrasse (no inside common space though), well furbished rooms (you will find big box there to store and safe your stuffs), space, very good food. I totally recommend

Auberge proche de dowtown, lit confortable et personnel acceuillant. Nous avons séjourné dans cette auberge à notre arrivée et avant notre départ.
