A Guest House located in Bogota’s historic city centre, barrio La Candelaria, La Quinta is a quiet and private place that also offers the opportunity for guests to share with other travelers. The house has 21 rooms, 2 big kitchens, a patio, a TV room and several common areas. It has a living room and dining room on each floor. The way the building is designed offers privacy in rooms and social areas alike. We do our best to offer more than just accommodation. We have created a temporal home for our guests to explore Bogota's culture.
IMPORTANT INFO: The address you must arrive to so that we can give you the keys to your room and check you in is: Calle 12b #5-07. This is Hostal R10's address, our other hostel. It is REALLY close to La Quinta's address: Carrera 5 #12b-50. So basically, you first have to come to Hostal R10, where the receptionist will welcome you and accommodate you in your room in La Quinta.
La Quinta is located on Carrera 5 between Calle 12B and Calle 12C, in La Candelaria, Bogota's old downtown. This neighborhood is characterized by its colonial and republican houses, many of which have been declared sites of cultural and historical interest. It has a significant population of artists, teachers and students. Around here you will find some of Bogota's main touristic attractions: Cerro de Monserrate, Museo del Oro, Museo Botero, Plaza de Bolivar, and several coffee shops, galleries, bookstores and bars.
All of our private rooms are furnished with a closet, desk, night table and chair in case you need to do some work or plan your trip. All rooms and social areas have Wi-fi.

Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival.
Check in from 14:00.
Check out before 12:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.

The room was ice cold, but the staff brought me extra blankets when I asked for them. My bathroom was not cleaned properly; there was hair in the toilet when I arrived. The shower did not get warm, which is a problem when it’s freezing outside.

Staff on arrival was kind but not familiar with the hostel. The room was not unclean but the common areas were. Our room was attached to the kitchen, so loud in the morning. Location is excellent. Wifi works well. Although this hostel had excellent reviews, I would not stay there again.

More of the feel of university halls of residence than a hostel, this is located in the very studenty streets at the edge of the Candelaria area.
On arrival, there is no signage that this is a hostel from the outside, it’s an unmarked green metal door with a buzzer. The taxi driver helped us figure it out from the house number, and we rang the doorbell and asked. V. Helpful reception tho.
Location is very good, only 5mins walk from the Botero and other museums and 10mins from the main square.
