Hostel Amir

Hostel Amir is located in the middle of the Fez’s Medina, the closer village is Bab Boujloud. We have four small rooms in a typical Moroccan decoration style which will make you live the true Moroccan “charm”.
Medina of Fez was founded in the 9th century. The principal monuments in the medina – madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains - date from this period. Also the old Medina of Fez has the oldest university in the world. Although the political capital of Morocco was transferred to Rabat in 1912, Fez has retained its status as the country's cultural and spiritual centre.

Hostel Amir is only three minute from the centre of the Medina: the Bleu Gate (Bab Boujloud). We are near the centre of the Medina the Bleu Gate (Bab Boujloud). The principal monuments in the medina are: Madrasas, Fondouks, ancient buildings, residences, mosques and fountains, all from 9th century. Also the old Medina of Fez host the oldest university in the world.

The rooms are very large and well organized to accommodate people, guests will feel in a safe and beautiful place.
