Les clients d'Hostelworld comparent souvent le Stayokay Amsterdam Oost (Zeeburg) à un hôtel, affirmant qu'il est spacieux et propre et sert un petit-déjeuner très apprécié composé « d'œufs, de fromage, de jambon, de jus d'orange/de pomme fraîchement pressé » et plus encore. Les visiteurs nous disent que l'auberge "dispose d'excellentes liaisons de tramway et de bus et que toutes les principales attractions sont sur la même ligne de tramway", ce qui la place à environ 10 minutes en tramway du centre même d'Amsterdam. Nous aimons le fait qu'il y ait une lampe de lecture et une prise de courant à chaque lit du dortoir, avec une décoration décrite comme "belle et moderne et... bien entretenue".
Description de l’établissement
The hostel is located to the east of the city centre in a quiet, typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. Amsterdam’s historic centre is less than 15 minutes away by bike or tram. Stayokay Amsterdam Oost has its own café-restaurant and shares the premises with a number of interesting neighbours, which means that there’s always plenty to do, if you stay here.
The bedrooms are all spacious and feature private sanitary facilities. All standard rooms have bunk beds.
You will be given bed linen upon arrival to make your own bed. Towels are not included. These can be rented at the hostel for € 3,00 per towel. Breakfast is not included, but you can book it separately or buy it at the hostel. Breakfast is against payment of € 9.50.
Tourist tax of 7% per night of the cost of the room plus €3 per person per night, is not included. Please pay upon arrival.
• Children under 18 years, is only allowed on private (family) rooms toghether with parents.
• Persons aged 16 or 17 may also stay in a private room without being in the company of an adult, provided that they can present a filled consent
form upon arrival at the hostel (please contact the hostel for the consent form).
Stayokay and Hostelling International members do not receive member discount on this booking.

Good hostel! Felt safe and neighborhood is cute, there is a grocery store nearby and plenty of restaurants, coffee shops ect. Only con: There is no kitchen! The place is clean and there is a big main area with great ambiance!

Salle de bain déplorable,
Pas de savon : merci de le préciser sur la description de l’hostel !
L’eau ne s’évacuait pas bien du tout, à la fin cela finissait en pataugoire
Propreté plus que douteuse !
Et en plus de cela, hostel situé très loin du centre ville

My favorite hostel, I've been there many times already. Good location away from the crowds, amazing lobby, cozy private beds. Great stay as always!

Stayokay Amsterdam Oost dit
I think what guests like the most about our hostel is our price and quality. The rooms are clean and safe, there is free Wi-Fi. In our bar you can meet other travellers and play a game of pool or darts. The hostel has a bike rental service, which is a great way to get around the city! Our staff is very experienced and willing to help you find your way around the city. At the reception lots of things are available like towels, tickets for museums and attractions, public transport tickets and the Amsterdam card or City Pass.
Around the hostel there are some interesting things to do and see. For example, there is a cinema next door and a real Dutch windmill in walking distance. This is a good photo stop and it gets even better; it's also a beer brewery! At 'Brouwerij 't IJ' they make their own local Amsterdam beer and of course you can have a taste there on their sunny terrace.
For some culture you can take a short walk to the Royal Tropical Institute (Tropenmuseum). The permanent and temporary exhibitions display (art) objects, photographs, music and film from non-western cultures. Did you know that there are people with over 180 different nationalities living in Amsterdam?
Guests of all ages are welcome in our hostel. Over the last 5 years that the hostel is open, we have welcomed guests from 0 to 88 years. Most guests are between 18 and 30 years old. This is a wheelchair-friendly building and there is an elevator available. There are also several wheelchair-accessible rooms available for people with special needs or disabilities.
