We are operating a homestay registered with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia.
A number of newly touched-up, Malaysian style chalets with fan and attached bathroom. We also have an 8 bed dormitory available at a backpacker friendly price.
Set within nature, our guests have access to a garden by the sea, with tables where you can enjoy a cup of tea and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Reconnect with nature and explore this beautifully unspoiled island with hiking and kayaking.

Je ne sais pas si ce gars est un complet idiot ou un truand patenté. Mais a force de mauvaise volonté et d 'informations fausses ils a fini par me rendre impossible d 'arriver à destination me laissant perdu en pleine nuit. heureusement on m 'est venu aide. Mais lui en a toujours rien à faire. Vous voilà prévenu.

Thanks to our lovely hosts we discovered an authentic friendly and entertaining part of Malaysia. We are so grateful for the moments we shared (we had for example the chance to attend a traditional wedding !) and the mind blowing food (best crab and fried calamari ever !). Really happy to see that all the previous reviews were absolutely not overrated. Wishing you all the best and do not change a single thing, it is perfect as it is !

Nous avons passé 7 jours sur Pulau Dayang Bunting avec nos 2 filles de 3 et 10 ans. C'était pour nous la premiere fois en Malaisie et ce fut une experience formidable. C'est une petite ile tranquille, loin de la folie touristique de Langkawi. Barkat Chalets vous plonge dans un environnement familial , Shade et sa femme sont extraordinaires, lui a toujours le sourire,elle cuisine a merveille! Le site est magnifique, waterfall, truck dans la jungle, pêche sur le bateau de Shade! Nous reviendrons !
