Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Non Refundable
No refunds or adjustments for last minute bail outs.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Third Party Bookings ; If you are travelling in groups, the booker must be travelling with you and required to be present at the moment of your check-in. We cannot accept third party bookings without the booker presence to sign his agreements and assume group liability. If such occurs, we can at our discretion cancel your booking or ask you to pay cash and to place another credit card on file.

Authorization to charge; You authorize us to charge the credit card you provided at time of placing your online booking for deposits and incidentals incurred and necessary as part of your reservation and your stay, in accordance with our terms and conditions, including if appropriate for all incidentals and / or damages resulting from your stay.

Alternate form of payment; You can also add an alternate payment type during your check-in or pay in cash, if your stay was already prepaid, a refund will be issued on the same card you used to book your stay. Credits appear within 30 days of processing. Finally, all check-in payments are final and non-refundable.

Room Types are not guaranteed; Upon making any reservation or booking be it for a dorm bed space or a private room we guarantee the following shall be made available. We will always provide and made available to you (a) A clean environment to live within, (b) Clean bed with bedsheets and pillows cases, (b) Access to clean dishes and a functional kitchen (c) Access to a clean bathroom. If you encounter any issues with regards to any of the above, please inform our staff so that we may remedy the situation. At all times and without exceptions, housekeeping is responsible for creating and maintaining the above standards for our guests.

Guest Accountability & breach/remedy policy; In the event of a customer dispute, honest mistake in booking or an overbookings, we promise to do the following to assist you. (1) Make all arrangements and Offer you alternate accommodations of equivalent or better standards as what you booked. (2) We will pay the difference in costs. (3) Minimize inconveniences as much as possible. (4) Provide transportation to the alternate accommodation if necessary. In the event that we are unable to find you space, we will refund all booking deposits and provides resources to help you find lodging.

Privacy and Data Collection; By providing us with your information during check-in, you agree that we may share your personal information with our worldwide affiliates and our insurers and other governmental bodies as required by law. We and our insurers or/and affiliates may collect, use and disclose your information as described in our Privacy and Personal Information Protection Notice to: identify you; provide you with ongoing service; help us serve you better; protect us, you and them from fraud and error; and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. All information on file for registered guest may be disclosed. All information may also be shared with any person or entity to which we have assigned or transferred an interest in the Account, or any debt or interest due under the terms to be provided in the Account Agreement, and/or any of our rights and obligations under the Account Agreement (including any subsequent assignee or transferee). The use of the facility means the guest agree to be bound by the our Privacy Notice and to the Agreement sent to you and any replacements or updates to those agreements in connection with your stay.

General Rules; Keep your environment tidy, do not slam any door, that includes our entrance door, bedroom or bathroom doors. When you leave the premises to go out, make sure the door is closed behind you. When you take a shower, activate the ventilation system. On Arrival Day, take a shower prior to laying in your bed, you must also take a shower daily during your stay not doing so will result in denial of service and an end of stay. You do not sit on or occupy any other bed than the bed you have been assigned by the system. You do not throw your personal stuff over an unoccupied bed. You also will not have sex in bunk beds in shared rooms, if caught or someone complains, we will upgrade your room to a private room and charge your card $110.00 for the night. If your card declines, we end your stay the next day.

Quality of Life; Respect hours of operations for the laundry room, do not start a laundry load after 21:00 (9:00 P.M.). Laundry is billed at $6.00 per load, this includes washing, drying, soaps and softeners. Ask our staff to start the load for you. Do not throw cigarette butts inside or outside of the building or our grounds. Do not make noise on the balcony or talk after 22:00, you may however use these spaces to smoke your cigarettes. Do not walk with high heel shoes or stomp inside common areas after 22:00 (10:00 p.m.). Visitors of guests; Visitors are permitted provided you give advance warning to your host that you intend to bring an unregistered guests. KITCHEN USE; NO cooking between 08:00 and 10:30 and between 16:30 and 18:30 or after 11:00 p.m. without host permission and this is due to insurance requirements.

Food Consumption; There is no food consumptions inside dorms.

Denial of Service [DOS] policy: Management or its employees or agents, reserves its’ right to refuse service to anyone at its sole discretion and specifically for anyone who breaches the terms and conditions contained on this form and this without further notice or delay. If your stay is ended prematurely because you misbehaved or failed to respect your word, a refund will be applied according to the terms of your reservation. If your reservation terms are

Non-refundable, no refunds will be applied to your account and you will be asked to leave. This information will also be shared with others on our network to keep hostels experiences safe for everyone on our network and may result in you being denied service in others hostel worldwide. We will deny service or end your stay on the spot if you interfere with our business operations, display or express homophobia or hateful behavior towards any guests, staff or friends of the hostel. If you disturb others in a way that is repeated after being advised to stop such behavior. We will also make public the grounds of your eviction and post a public review of our experience with you. Hygiene Policy: You are obligated to take a shower daily. If you do not honor this request, you will be asked to leave.

Curfews and Restrictions: There are no curfew at this facility, however, you must leave the hostel for a minimum of six (6) hours a day during your stay. This is to allow our staff sufficient time to inspect dorms, perform our housekeeping functions and clean the rooms.

Damages and extra Fees (incidentals). In the unlikely event that you break or damage something during your stay, the following exception expense will be taken from the security deposit in case of destruction or damages. Unreturned room keys incur a charge of $15.00; Stained sheets (not regular wear and tear, but stained) incur a $46 replacement fee; Stain quilt will incurs a replacement fee of $65.00; Unreturned towels or stained towels incur a fee of $15.00, Other fees may be incurred based on damages but the above are the most common costs. Incidentals. We make available at your disposal services which are added costs. The following is our list of common costs. Laundry Services cost $4.01, Meals range between $4.01 and $15.95 depending on your order. On-site printing is billed at $ 0.25 per page. The mail reception or courier service costs $10.00 per month if you request it at the time of your registration or prior to your departure. It is payable in 4, 6 or 12 months periods. If you give our address to receive mail without notifying us, the service will cost you $ 40.00 per month and you will be billed in advance for 12 months. All mail received will be scanned and emailed to the address we have on file for you.
Billing and Dispute resolution policy. If you pay by charge or credit card for yourself or a group, the following new policy is applicable.

You must open a service request by emailing Most Refunds take up to 7 days to be posted on your account. You are advised to not contact your bank at first as most problems can be resolved quicker by dealing with us in the first place. In the event that you do contact your bank to file a dispute without reaching out to us first and file you a chargeback, we will subject your account to our blacklist procedure and if and when the bank sides in our favor, we reserve the right to recover our costs and bill your card our cost for handling your banking dispute. The costs are the following first chargeback: $45.00 U.S. Dollars Reversal Fee and $50.00 U.S. Dollars Representation/Research Fee Second Chargeback: $90.00 U.S. Dollars Reversal Fee $100.00 U.S. Dollars Representation Fee. To these amounts you must add 15% local taxes.

If your time of arrival is after our business hours, your booking is subject to our late arrival policy Arrivals after 22:00 is subject to a $20/h service charge which we apply towards defraying staffing and administrative costs. The lawful maximum which we shall charge will never exceed your daily room rate or $240.00 whichever is less pursuant and in compliance with to the consumer protection law.

Exceptions to our late arrival policy: We are sorry to say we cannot offer late arrivals for special promotions or last minute booking. If you arrive after 22:00, you will be marked as no-show. Remedying no-shows: You can opt-in for booking reinstatement: The fee is $15.00 plus applicable late check-in fees and taxes. After hours check in: As a minimum of 2 hours shall be billed to your account starting at 22:01. After midnight, (00:00), your booking will be marked as no-show and we shall report no-show to our partners. Other fees may be incurred based on damages but the above are the most common costs.

Two hour rule: Provided you show up before midnight on the day of your check-in we will do our best to accommodate your situation, any arrival after midnight will have its reservation marked as no-show and your room type will not be guaranteed.

Right to resell; In the case of a no-show we will attempt to resell your room or space and if you arrive later (i.e. 2 A.M.) you may be lodged in a different accommodation than that which you originally booked.

Pricing, base currency and taxes; The pricing is always in American Dollars. All pricing excludes taxes, unless otherwise noted. Finally you understand that our full terms and conditions are not only available upon arrival (that is to say at the reception) a copy of which can be requested by writing to us and may be sent by e-mail. The above mentioned cardholder will pay the issuer of its charge card presented herein in accordance with the issuer’s agreement with the cardholder the fees and/or costs that appears on his folio and / or his reservation under the terms of the conditions of stay, agreement between the merchant, the cardholder and credit card issuers, the customer acknowledges that goods or services described in his bill were received or dispensed and they were considered satisfactory at the moment of delivery.

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Description de l’établissement

Pied-A-Terre Hostel est une auberge de jeunesse qui ressemble beaucoup à une maison, plutôt qu'à une auberge, c'est plus convivial et moins impersonnel qu'une expérience standard d'un hôtel ou d'une auberge. Ici vous trouverez une communauté. Diversité, affinité, recherche d'aventure, explorateurs expérimentés et voyageurs du monde entier. De plus, nous sommes très près du métro / métro, des distilleries locales, du parc Mont-Royal et du parc La Fontaine, du village gay et du centre-ville ainsi que de plusieurs restaurants raffinés tels que Restaurant L'Avenue, SAQ, St-Viateur Bagel & Café Barraca Rhumerie & Tapas. Juste derrière nous nous trouvons une épicerie qui offre des heures d'ouverture prolongées jusqu'à minuit et quelques pâtés de maisons vers l'est sur l'avenue du Mont-Royal, une autre grande épicerie de surface ouverte 24 heures sur 24. La région est un crime paisible et faible. (Animaux domestiques)

Rien de plus simple que de se déplacer puisque nous sommes situés sur le plateau Mont-Royal, la plupart des gens choisissent de marcher ou ils louent un de nos vélos. Nous avons également 24 heures de transport en commun avec le bus local qui vous dépose à 15 mètres de nos portes. Vous êtes à 4 minutes à pied du 'Métro' Mont-Royale sur la ligne orange. Si vous choisissez de marcher directement vers le hub Berri-Uquam, vous pouvez le faire en environ 20 minutes et profiter de notre belle architecture et une grande ambiance de la ville.

Nous avons plusieurs types de chambres pour répondre et satisfaire les besoins et les souhaits de nos clients et voyageurs. En outre, nous avons plusieurs espaces communs où les invités et les voyageurs peuvent se réunir et échanger des expériences passées et des plans futurs. Nous avons un tableau d'offres d'emploi, un télécopieur et des imprimantes pour les clients qui cherchent du travail dans la ville. Notre établissement dispose d'équipements tels qu'un espace de rangement pour vos sacs et un grand placard pour votre nourriture ou épicerie, un lave-vaisselle, deux réfrigérateurs, une connexion Internet haut débit ultra-rapide, un téléphone résidentiel gratuit et des serrures électroniques programmables.

    Hôte très sympa et auberge très bien placée mais souvent surbookée, nous n'avons pas pu y loger. À éviter dans les périodes d'emménagement à Montreal! Il y a un service de storage pour les bagages et l'hôte a essayé de nous aider au maximum

    Personne ne s'est présenté pour le check-in. Overbook les lits donc annule a la dernière minute et présence de cas de Monkey pox (maladie) sans mise en quarantaine...

    L'hôte ne nous a pas laissé rentrer car il ne restait plus de places. Il n'avait pas de masque et semblait gelé. L'endroit sentait fort le pot. La réservation avec hostel n'aurait pas été actualisée selon lui car toute ses chambres étaient bookées. Après 300 km de trajet et aucun lieu où dormir aux alentours ça a été une nuit spécialement mauvaise.
