The common areas (kitchen, bathroom, etc) were clean and in good condition but the whole hostel spelt of mound and years old cigarettes. I'd recommend they change the carpet

15 min walk to Parque Lleras so you're not RIGHT in the thick of things and can sleep. Wifi was sporadic and wouldn't work on most of the second floor. Great free breakfast! Juice, toast, fruit and eggs!

This hostel was very disappointing. I arrived. I hated it and I left after using the Wifi to book a hostel elsewhere. The view of the beach is pretty. However, there is no fans or air con; the rooms and kitchen were dirty; the gardens are overgrown; the gate was never locked so I can only assume the hostel was insecure; it was a long way from the beach and restaurants too. No breakfast included either or other facilities made R$90 seem expensive. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Expensive but basic accommodation during the World Cup. Awesome atmosphere was mainly due to no girls and it was like a boys weekend with lots of beers and futbol.
