How to get there

1. Buy your flight ticket to Natal (check out our links for some good rates)

2. Rent a car or get hitch a ride

3. Take the BR101 'highway' direction north and follow the signs for Litoral Norte

4. Take the Natal bridge and after 3Km turn right towards Extremoz

5. After 95Km of wonderful landscapes

6. Turn left and follow the sign to São Miguel do Gostoso

7. After 15 Km getting into Gostoso you'll find the only gas station in town on your left

8. Right after the gas station turn left

9. 20 meters more and your at the Ilha

By bus

To get to Natal's bus station 'Rodoviaria Nova':

From the airport by taxi 38 R$. By bus 2 R$ + 3 R$, take a minivan that will drop you at the BR101 junction (2 minutes, 2 R$) and from there take the bus to Rodoviaria (3 R$).

From Ponta Negra by taxi 30 R$. By bus, number 66, 2.5 R$.
