Plan d’accès à Bocas Bound

You will take a water taxi from Bocas town to Red Frog Beach public dock.

From San Jose, Costa Rica Airport:

--Taxi ride from airport to bus station ($10-$15 per person); Bus Ride from San Jose to Puerto Viejo ($8); Stay the night at Rockin J's for the night in Puerto Viejo ($7); Take bus from Puerto Viejo to border town of Sixola ($3); Taxi ride to seaside town of Almirante ($10); Catch the water taxi to Bocas ($4); Catch water taxi to Bocas Bound on Bastimentos ($5)

--You can fly Monday, Wednesday, Friday directly from San Jose into Bocas

From Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica:

--Take bus from Puerto Viejo to border town of Sixola ($3); Taxi ride to seaside town of Almirante ($10); Catch the water taxi to Bocas Jampan Boat taxi ($3.50); Catch water taxi to Bocas Bound on Bastimentos ($5) or take Bocas Shuttle ($28).

From Panama City:

--Can take a domestic flight

--Bus ride takes approximately 8.5 hours and the cost is approximately $20. Bus departs from Gran Terminal Nacional de Transporte near Albrook Airport From Almirante, you will need to take the water taxi to Bocas.
